The Theory Test is split into two parts.

Theory - 50 multiple choice questions ranging over 14 topics. You have 57 minutes to complete the test. You can use a mouse or, usually, a "touch screen"

and

Hazard Perception - 14 video clips each lasting for one minute. You are required to identify 15 hazards that will appear over the course of the 14 clips. 13 of the clips contain one hazard whilst one clip contains two. So do not drop your concentration levels for a second! If you identify a hazard at the optimum time your score 5 points, with the score reducing the later you see the hazard.

You must pass BOTH parts of the test to gain a pass. In the Theory part the pass mark is 43 from 50 and in the Hazard perception it is 44 from as possible 75 marks.
